Deepak Gupta’s family clarify rumours surrounding his Death.

Ambikapur. The rumour of involvement of Congress leaders in a vegetable vendor Deepak Gupta murder case spread fast, but now the reaction of the family members, in this case, has rubbished all the rumours. During the discussion with the relatives, they said that this rumour spreading through newspapers and media by linking the Congress leaders to this matter is baseless. Anil Gupta, brother of the deceased Deepak Gupta, said that his brother had gone with his friends on the day of the incident. He got injured in a fight. District Panchayat member Adityaeshwar Sharan Singhdeo gave 50 thousand rupees for his treatment, and other Congress workers gave 60 thousand rupees. Even after reaching Raipur, the injured Deepak Gupta received medical help through Health Minister TS Singhdeo.

Congress Committee District President Surguja Rakesh Singh expressed condolences to the family members. He said that the culprits will receive punishment after an inquiry into the matter. Along with this, he has said that the accused in this case have never been in contact with them in any way, but these accused have been their traditional political opponents. His family members have also contested the elections against him. 

District President Rakesh Gupta said that some people are cooking a conspiracy due to political hatred. They are envious of the popularity of the Congress leaders after the 2019 elections.
