Collector, SP flag off Roko Aou Toko campaign to promote awareness of COVID

Jashpurnagar:District Collector Ritesh Kumar Agrawal and Superintendent of Police Vijay Agrawal flagged off ‘Roko Au Toko’ campaign in the district to create awareness among people on Corona pandemic and its ill effects. The campaign aimed at convincing people to follow Covid protocols. 

The campaign is being organised under the joint aegis of District Administration, UNICEF and National Service Scheme. The team engaged in the campaign will encourage people to wear masks, get first, second dose and booster dose of vaccine and follow social distance.

At present, the campaign will be run in Jashpur and Kunkuriblock of the district. Forest Divisional Officer Krishna Jadhav, Joint Collector Sachin Bhutda, Kunkuri SDM Ravi Rahi, District Education Officer J K Prasad, Chief Medical and Health Officer Ranjit Toppo, Sakshar Bharat’s B P Jatwar, Women and Child Development Officer Vismita Patle, DPM Smriti Ekka, Dr Pushpendra Soni, UNICEF District Coordinator Anil Baghel and volunteers of National Service Scheme were present.

The Collector and the SP appealed people to protect themselves from corona infection by following the guidelines.
