CM Bhupesh Baghel bestowed development works worth Rs 226 crore to Sakti
Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel today, bestowed 30 different works worth Rs 226 crore 26 lakh 90 thousand to the residents of Sakti, the block headquarter of Janjgir-Champa district. These development works will include the inauguration of 11 different works worth Rs 13 crore 67 lakh 80 thousand and 19 works costing Rs 212 crore 59 lakh including Bhoomipujan.
Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, Revenue Minister Jaisingh Agrawal, MP Jyotsna Mahant, Chairman of Gau Sewa Commission Mahant Ramsunder Das, Chairman of Raipur Development Authority Subhash Dhuppad, MLA Ramkumar Yadav and public representatives were present on this occasion.
Among the works that the Chief Minister inaugurated, 4 roads will be constructed that will enhance connectivity between these villages. The roads will be constructed at a cost of 10.79 crores. These include the Markamgodhi to Khushudera Amlidih approach road at a cost of Rs 2.53 crore, the road from the village of Baghoda to Sukharikala at a cost of Rs 2.22 crore, village Kadari to Gatwa road at a cost of Rs 2.50 crore and Sanjaygram to Basti Baradwar road at a cost of Rs 3.54 lakh is included in these development works. Apart from this, to enhance health facilities, a shed will b constructed for an oxygen plant in the government hospital building of Sakti at a cost of Rs 20 lakh, 2 units work shed strong room will be constructed at village Gadgodi at a cost of Rs 30 lakh, Darang Anicut at a cost of Rs 2 crore 5 lakh 70 thousand. Apart from this, to enhance school infrastructure and modern amenities, the construction of an art and culture room at Bamhanidih’s Government Higher Secondary School, Baradwar at a cost of Rs 7 lakh, a laboratory room at a cost of Rs 7.6 lakh, construction of a library room at a cost of Rs 9 lakh, 7 lakh for the construction of computer room in the Government Higher Secondary School, BDM Saragaon has been inaugurated by the Chief Minister.
Among the works for which the Chief Minister has performed Bhoomi Pujan, Under Jal Avardhan Yojana at a cost of Rs 101 crore 52 lakh,Jal Jeevan mission 96 crores 74 lakh and Grameen Jal praday yojna Similarly, 11 crore for the development works in Achnakmar, Maldi Suvadera, the road from village Bukuramunda Basti to Dhanpur Jarve Marg, from Bailachuha to Jagdalli, CC road from village Dhanpur to village Gudhwa, CC road cum drain construction in village Temer, a bhumipujan will be done for these development works. Moreover, Rs.78 lakh has been sanctioned for all these establishments. Along with this, Bhumi Pujan of Chandra (Chandranahu) social building is included in the municipality Sakti at a cost of 20 lakhs.
