Raipur:Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday presented the third Supplementary Demand Grant of Rs 4 hundred 92 crore 35 lakh72 thousand 398 crore in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. In his address in the House, Chief Minister Baghel took a dig at BJP and said that the Opposition is always searching for a way to escape. Even today BJP has fled during the budget discussion and he is not sure whether the Opposition will sit in the next meeting of the budget session.

The Chief Minister said that MLAs Ajay ChandrakarBrijmohan AgrawalShivratan Sharma are the only players in the team of BJP while Saurabh Singh’s role is limited to extra player as yet. The BJP people have to show something so save themselves from hunter, said the Chief Minister. 

The Chief Minister said, “We have started many schemes for women. Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Yojana has been started in which the first two daughters of the family of labourers are being given Rs 20000 each. We have started Girls College in remote tribal areas, where education will start from this year.”

Referring to the purchase of paddy, Bhupesh Baghel said that the previous government used to sweat in buying six lakh metric tonnes of paddy, but this time we bought more than one lakhtonnes

Commenting on the FIR against JCC MLA Pramod Sharma, the Chief Minister said, “We have faced many such FIRs  and your people are perplexed with just one.” To be mentioned, PramodSharma had commented that the posting of Collector and SPs was being done through bidding. The Chief Minister said that the allegation is baseless and said that it used to happen in the previous government. 

The Chief Minister said that 76 percent of forest produce of the country is being purchased from Chhattisgarh. In a district like Bijapur, five thousand motorcycles and more than five hundred tractors have been bought in these years due to government schemes.
