National Tribal Dance Festival: Chief Ministers of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand indulged in a jugalbandi with thodka and trumpet

Raipur: During the ongoing National Tribal Dance Festival at the
Science College ground here, the chief ministers of two tribal-dominated
states, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand indulged in a ‘jugalbandi’ by playing
traditional instruments and trumpet. When Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren
started playing Thodka, Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel supported
him by playing trumpet at the departmental stall of public relations.

2021 organized Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren along with Chhattisgarh chief
minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the development exhibition organized by
various departments of Chhattisgarh Government at the venue and inspected it.
The Chief Minister inspected the stalls of the Water Resources Department, Public
Works Department, Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare and Biotechnology
Department, Aajeevika Gudi (RIPA), and became aware of their functioning.

During the inspection of Minor Forest Produce Processing Units
at Aajeevika Gudi (RIPA), he observed the working of Mini Oil Mill, Mini Dal
Mill, and other small-scale units like Murra, Chana, Lai, and Popcorn Bursting.
During this, Soren also tasted the taste of Chhattisgarhi Murra.

Baghel apprised the chief guest Soren about the livelihood-related activities being conducted thereby showing the model of Gauthan
constructed by the Department of Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare
and Biotechnology under Suraji Gaon Yojana. Along with this, the officials of
Indira Gandhi Agricultural University told about the different varieties of
ragi flour, kodo, rice, herbal gulal, and rice being produced in the university.
