Raipur:Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going to bite the dust in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. After two phase of elections, reports coming from the constituency went to the poll that the BJP will be dethroned, said Baghel while taking to the newsmen at Raipur airport before his Lucknow trip on Saturday.
The third phase election will be held on Sunday followed by four more phases and the voters of UP will give a befitting reply to BJP in the remaining phases like they did in the first two phase, said Baghel.
On BJP national general secretary and BJP State in-charge D Purandeswari, who is on three-day trip to Chhattisgarh, Baghel said that the BJP State in-charge, seems, has managed to recover from the shock she had received from the defeat of her party in the urban body poll held in the state recently. Perhaps, she has come again to Chhattisgarh to take classes of the BJP leaders, Baghel said. When asked as to why senior BJP leaders are not being invited to Chhattisgarh, Baghel said that it is the indication of leadership change in the state. The BJP is searching for a new leader in Chhattisgarh and therefore the existing leadership is being sidelined, said Baghel. The way the state leadership is being treated is insulting, Baghel said.
On the rising prices of sand and cement, Baghel said that as far as cement is concerned, it is not in their hands rather it comes under the control of the Government of India. Complaints were being received continuously in the matter of sand and results can be seen when action against illegal mining was initiated, said the Chief Minister.
On former AAP leader and poet Kumar Vishwas’sstatement, the Chief Minister said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal should answer to Vishwas. Kejriwal used to say he has made 12000 e-smart classes which had not happened in the last 75 years. In response, Chief Minister Baghel said that the concept of smart class has just arrived. It was not even there in other parts of the world. Kejriwal should give a straight answer to Kumar Vishwas’s question. It is related to the unity of the country. Baghel termed AAP as the B-team of BJP.
