Raipur:Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi with arrogant Ravana, the character in India’s mythological drama Ramayana. Even the ego of Ravana could not last and Prime Minister Modi is just a human being, said Baghel while taking a dig at the Prime Minister who announced the withdrawal of the three Agriculture Laws and appealed the farmers to end their agitation. He made the aforementioned statement from the stage of Panchayati Raj Conference held in Raipur on Saturday evening.
Baghel said that when the farmers’ movement was going on, the farmers were criticised saying they had no work and therefore staging demonstration. Farmers were called brokers and even terrorists. Attempts were made to defame farmers in many ways, but the farmers of India stood firm and finally the government had to bow down, Baghel said.
