Prime Minister Narendra Modi extends free ration scheme for 80 crore families for five more years and accuses Congress of scams
Durg, Chhattisgarh In a political rally held in Durg, Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a significant announcement, declaring that the Central Government would extend the benefits of the free ration scheme to 80 crore underprivileged families for the next five years. This move is aimed at providing much-needed support to the country’s vulnerable populations. During his speech, PM Modi also leveled serious allegations against the Congress-led state government, accusing them of being involved in a massive 9,500 crore rupees scam. He questioned the state’s Chief Minister, Bhupesh Baghel, regarding his apparent concern when crores of rupees were seized in a Dubai gambling scandal linked to individuals with connections to Chhattisgarh.
PM Modi didn’t stop there and further criticized the Congress government for various alleged scams within Chhattisgarh, which included a 2,000 crore rupees liquor scam, a 500 crore rupees cement scam, a 5,000 crore rupees rice scam, a 1,300 crore rupees cowshed scam, and a 700 crore rupees DMF (District Mineral Foundation) scam. Assuring a commitment to accountability and transparency, PM Modi stated that if the BJP were to come to power in the state, strict investigations would be initiated into these alleged scams, and individuals found guilty would face legal consequences, including imprisonment. In addition to his accusations, PM Modi underscored the Congress government’s alleged neglect of the welfare of the poor and claimed they had engaged in corrupt practices. He pledged that a BJP-led government would continue to provide free rations to 80 crore underprivileged families for the next five years.
The Prime Minister wrapped up his speech by emphasizing his unwavering dedication to serving the underprivileged and declared them as his most significant constituency. He encouraged the people of Chhattisgarh to support the BJP in the upcoming elections, with the promise of ushering in positive changes in the state.
