Raipur. Under the National Free Dialysis Program of the National Health Mission, free dialysis facilities are being provided in eight district hospitals of the state. Patients suffering from kidney diseases have to undergo frequent dialysis for a long time. This places a huge financial burden on them. Due to the availability of dialysis facilities at the local level, people suffering from kidney diseases do not have to go far. This is also saving labor, money and time for patients and their families.

National Health Mission is providing free dialysis facilities in eight districts of the state namely Durg, Kanker, Korba, Bilaspur, Jashpur, Surguja, Mahasamund and Bijapur. Total 36 machines have been installed.
