Representatives of various media organizations and Raipur Press Club have expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for extending the recognition renewal period from one year to two years. The journalists met the Chief Minister in the assembly premises today and thanked him for this. While replying to the discussion on the Appropriation Bill in the Vidhan Sabha today, the Chief Minister announced to increase the period of renewal of recognition of journalists from one year to two years by the Public Relations Department.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, during a discussion with the journalists in the Vidhan Sabha premises, said that the state government is always ready for the welfare of journalists. For them, the government is taking necessary initiatives from time to time. The Chief Minister had also announced 15 percent concession for journalists in the purchase of the residences of Raipur Development Authority in the New Year Milan program of Raipur Press Club on January 1 this year.
The President of Raipur Press Club, Damu Ambedkar, has expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for extending the period of renewal of journalist recognition to two years keeping in view the practical problems of journalists. He said that the Chief Minister has readily accepted all the requests made by the Press Club and has taken quick decisions.
