Government doctors should prescribe generic medicine: CM

Raipur:The department-wise review meeting of Chhattisgarh government began under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday with the review of Urban Administration and Development Department. 

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made it clear in the meeting that government doctors should prescribe generic medicines or else they will face the music if found prescribing branded medicines. 

The Chief Minister also announced in the meeting to make the property in the urban bodies free hold. Till date, property is being given on lease. The decision will benefit lakhs of people in the state. The Chief Minister also directed for the transfer of power of approving layout to municipal corporations, so that the people need not to do rounds of two departments.
