CM Bhupesh Baghel gives life lessons, exams tips and many more to school students at “CM ki Paathshala”

Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel interacted with school students at “CM ki Paathshala” programme organized at the newly-built Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Planetarium in Bilaspur. There was great enthusiasm among school students to have Chief Minister amongst them and they took full advantage of this opportunity, quelling their curiosity by asking direct questions to the Chief Minister Baghel. Chief Minister Baghel also interacted with the children like a teacher and a parent. The students were all smiles on getting the answers of their questions from the Chief Minister.

“Sir, How can I become like you?” asked a student, impressed by Chief Minister Baghel’s personality. “Face challenges bravely, running away is not a solution to a problem”, said the Chief Minister with a smile on his face. He also suggested seeking help from elders and teachers to resolve their problems. “Secondly, keep it simple and don’t over complicate things. Develop within you a tendency to help others”, he added.

Answering a question about his idol, Chief Minister said “there are so many great personalities in India that it would not be appropriate to name any one, but spiritually it’s Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, politically former MP Late. Chandulal Chandrakar, Digvijay Singh and Rahul Gandhi—all three played an effective role in building and shaping my political career.”

Chanchal Rajput, a class 11th student of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Sarkanda, asked the Chief Minister “How to prepare for board exams?”. Baghel said “First of all stop stressing about the exams. Study daily to avoid pressure during exam days and start studying from day one itself to avoid ‘exam fever’. Prepare a time table every day and study all the subjects.

Sandhya Verma, a student of Shaheed Avinash Sharma Government Girls School, first thanked Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for upgrading her school to a smart school saying that now many facilities are being provided in the school. She asked the Chief Minister Baghel about his school life and his study routine.

“I did my primary education from a government school. I studied from class III living alone in village Balodi. From Class sixth to class eleventh, I studied in village Marra. There was no means of transport and I used to walk five kilometers every day”, answered the Chief Minister.

Inder Sahu, a student of Government Multi-Purpose Higher Secondary School, Bilaspur, while talking to the Chief Minister said, “Sir, our school has been established in 1910 and now because of you all the facilities are available in the school. Thank you for this.” Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel replied, “It is difficult for the economically weaker and middle class families to afford the cost of their children’s education in English medium schools. Keeping this in view, our government is making all possible efforts to provide quality education in English and Hindi medium for students of every sections of the society. For this, 172 Swami Atmanand Government Excellent English Medium Schools are being operated in the state. Hindi Medium schools have also been started in Raipur and Bilaspur on the lines of Swami Atmanand Government Excellent English Medium Schools”.

Meanwhile, many more students also asked interesting questions to Chief Minister Mr. Baghel during ‘CM ki Paathshala’ programme.
