CM Baghel shows ‘big heart’, tenders apology for being harsh on woman during ‘Bhent-Mulaqat’

Raipur:Showing a ‘big heart’, Chief Minister BhupeshBaghel tendered an apologised for losing his ‘cool’ while listening to the complaint of a woman in ‘Bhent Mulaqat’ programme in Surguja on Monday. 

Talking to media persons before his departure to Surajpur on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said he should not have responded to the woman in such a way. “The woman was present in the programme to tell her grievances but I did not get her properly. I apologize for my conduct,” the Chief Minister told the media in Raipur.

Reacting to former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh’s criticism over the incident, Baghel said that the BJP finds  no reasons to corner the ruling party in the state and therefore it is raising such petty issues

Baghel recalled that Dr Raman Singh had once passed derogatory remark –‘manufacturing defect’ – on former Congress leader NandKumar Patel in Chhattisgarh Assembly.” 

Baghel said that BJP workers are coming to his public contact campaign and appreciating the schemes and programmes of the state government

Baghel that the coal policy of the Central government has utterly failed creating coal crisis and thus trains are being cancelled across the country.

The schemes launched by Congress government are being well accomplished. There is always a chance of improvement. A few officials committed mistakes and they were punished for the same

To a query on BJP MP Santosh Pandey’sstatement that the Congress is remembering Lord Ram, Shankar and Krishna as it is seeing a sure defeat in next assembly elections, Baghelsaid that the Congress party has never used religion or gods to secure votes.
