CM Baghel reschedules his Ambikapur programme following Minister Singhdeo’s request
Raipur:Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has left for Surguja on Tuesday after his return from Delhi on Monday late evening. The Chief Minister has plans for a night halt at Ambikapur, the district headquarters of Surguja. As per the protocol, the elected representatives such as Minister and MLAs should be present on the occasion. However, Health Minister T S Singhdeo will not be attending the Chief Minister.
Minister Singhdeo had already informed the Chief Minister Baghel during Sanapal Choupal the other day that he will not be able to present during his visit to Ambikapur and requested him to reschedule his visit after May 18. Singhdeo had a telephonic talk with the Chief Minister over the matter. Singhdeo has also written a letter to the Collector Sanjeev Jha in this regard.
The Chief Minister accepted the request of Singhdeo and postponed the programme till May 18. The officials clarified over Chief Minister’s Ambikapur trip on Tuesday that there was no facility for Chief Minister’s night halt in Lundra and therefore he will be going to Ambikapur after his Bhent-Mulaqat’ programme after 4 pm.
