Raipur:Sending a strong message, Chief Minister BhupeshBaghel told officers in a meeting held at Ambikapuron Wednesday that the applications received in Chaupals  should not go in the trash. The spirit you have shown for last seven days should continue in future, said the Chief Minister. “I will come again and review the applications.  I may hold review meetings within three to six months,” said the Chief Minister in the meeting.

The Chief Minister told the officers see no one is deprived of taking advantage of any scheme.  “Even 99 per cent success is not important for me as far as reaching the benefits of schemes to needy,” said  Baghel. The Chief Minister also praised the officers and employees for their efforts and said that the number of people making mistakes is very less, but one fish can make whole pond dirty. The Chief Minister advised the officers to compete with those doing better than them.

Reviewing the works done under forest rights, Chief Minister Baghel made it clear that the owners of the forest are the people of the village. “You (officers) are only the savior or administrator of those forests and you should not try to become the owner of the forests,” said the Chief Minister in the meeting.

Telling the story behind the concept of Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Baghel said during the Corana period, he used to take meetings of officers and education related issues used to be discussed in the meeting very often. There came the concept of starting an English school developed in these meeting. After that these schools are being opened. Schools are opening in all the blocks.
