A Congress leader from Bijapur, along with two female Maoists, was apprehended by police in Telangana, Chhattisgarh’s neighbouring state. Based on the information received from the informer, the police took action.
The two women were going to Warangal in Telangana for the treatment of Maoists. Meanwhile, the police have arrested all three near Hanamakonda.
According to sources, the police are still questioning them. Only after interrogation will the truth be revealed. The information about which cadre the two female Maoists belong to has yet to be revealed.
KG Satyam, arrested by Telangana Police, is a former Bijapur Congress worker. He was the party’s Vice President in Bijapur before becoming General Secretary.
