Three fourth adult population of the state fully vaccinated against Covid-19

Raipur: The Covid-19 vaccination drive is going on at a rapid pace in Chhattisgarh. 1 crore 46 lakh 80 thousand 330 people have been vaccinated against corona in the state. This is three-fourth i.e. 75 per cent of the population above 18 years of age eligible for vaccination in the state. Precaution doses have also been administered to 2 lakh 79 thousand 324 health workers, frontline workers and people above 60 years of age in the state.

Meanwhile, 100 per cent of the adult population and 62 per cent of teens in the 15 to 18 age group have received their first shot of the Covid-19 vaccine. One crore 95 lakh 74 thousand 606 people above 18 years of age and one lakh 21 thousand 436 adolescents of 15 to 18 years have been administered the first dose of Covid vaccine. One lakh 96 thousand 92 children in the age group of 15 to 18 years have been fully vaccinated so far. A total of 3 crores 57 lakh 51 thousand 788 vaccines have been administered across the state so far (till 4 February) in both age groups, including first and second and prevention doses.
