State govt to provide financial assistance for treatment of two visually impaired girls Chanda and Riya

Raipur: State government
will provide financial assistance for treatment of two visually impaired girls
hailing from Aragahi village of Surguja district. Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel
said this while addressing a press conference organized in Ramanujganj today.
“The state government will bear entire cost of treatment of both the girls.
They can avail treatment in any hospital of the country. They will be sent to
Delhi or Chennai wherever needed. Girls and mother will be accompanied by
hospital staff”, he said.

Meanwhile, two visually
impaired girls Chanda and Riya along with their mother Anati Devi attended the
meet and greet programme of Chief Minister organized in Aragahi village
yesterday. Teary-eyed Anati Devi sought help from chief minister for the
treatment of her daughters. Baghel told her not to worry and assured all
possible support for the treatment of her daughters.
