Rahul Gandhi transferred Rs 71 crore into the bank accounts of landless farmers as first instalment under Rajiv Gandhi Bhoomihin Krishi Majdoor Nyay Yojana.

Raipur: Former AICC president and Lok Sabha MP RahulGandhi on Thursday launched/ a bunch of state government sponsored schemes during a function organised at Government Science College Ground in Raipur. 


Launching of Rajiv Gandhi Bhoomihin Krishi MajdoorNyay Yojana, laying of foundation stone for the construction of Gandhi Sevagram in Nava Raipur construction of Amar Jawan Jyoti on the premises of Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF) premises are three major schemes which were launched by Rahul Gandhi in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and all the cabinet ministers of the state. .

Under Rajiv Gandhi Bhoomihin Krishi Majdoor NyayYojanaRahul Gandhi transferred Rs 71 crore into the bank accounts of landless farmers as first instalment. A financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year will be given to landless farmers, he said while reiterating the state government decision. Rahul Gandhi distributed the amount under Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club and released a coffee table book.


Addressing the gathering, Rahul Gandhi said that nearly 3.55 lakh landless families will be directly benefitted under the scheme. He asked Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to increase the assistance amount of Rs 6,000 under the scheme. He enjoyed Bastar coffee in the exhibition and said Bastarcoffee should be endorsed and made an international brand.  


Rahul Gandhi asked cabinet ministers to go among public in their districts to publicize the products of the districts. 

 

BJP divides nation into two parts

Rahul Gandhi said that the BJP has divided the country into two parts – one belong to a handful of prosper people and the other is of poor. He said that 40 per cent of the total wealth is with 100 prosper people while the rest are poor.


Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the Congress government in Chhattisgarh has moved a step further to make a welfare state with the launching of Rajiv Gandhi Bhoomihin Krishi Majdoor Nyay YojanaBaghel said that the Congress government has put Rs 91,000 crore into the pockets of common people in the last three years..

Revenue Minister Jaisingh Agrawal gave the welcome address. Panchayat and Rural Development Department Minister T S Singhdeo proposed the vote of thanks.
