Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made online payments of several Rs 1510 crore 81 lakh to the rural farmers of the state under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and Godhan Nyay Yojana in a program organized at his residence office on the occasion of Rajyotsava here today. This amount includes Rs 1500 crore of the third instalment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and Rs 10 crore 81 lakh as dividend to cow dung vendors, Gauthan committees and women self-help groups under Godan Nyay Yojana. The happiness of their festival has doubled with the amount reaching the accounts of 21 lakh rural farmer brothers of the state just before the festival of Diwali and Dhanteras.

While addressing the people on this occasion, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that today is the biggest festival for us Chhattisgarhis. On this day, the dream of Chhattisgarh state got fulfilled. He said that we fulfilled our promise by paying the third instalment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana to the farmers by paying Rs 1500 crore. The amount of cow dung purchased under Godhan Nyay Yojana, self-help and Gauthan committees have received dividend amount of Rs 10 crore 21 lakhs. The Chief Minister said that despite the Corona crisis for the last two years, there was no shortage of money in our village during festivals. This year also our farmer brothers will celebrate Diwali with great enthusiasm.


The Chief Minister further said that due to the farmer-friendly policies of his government, agriculture in the state of Chhattisgarh has flourished and prospered in the last three years. The farmer brothers have produced a lot of paddy, and the government has also procured a lot of paddy. This year one crore 5 lakh metric tonnes of paddy is expected to be procured. From December 1, the purchase of paddy at support price will start in the state. Keeping in view the demand of ministers, public representatives, farmers’ organizations, we have extended the date of registration till November 10 for the convenience of farmers under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. He said that from agriculture to industry, trade, Chhattisgarh broke many records in three years. In these three years, we have done the work of providing justice to all sections of society. The dream of Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh is coming true. He greeted the people on the occasion of Rajyotsava, Dhanteras, Diwali festivals.

On this occasion, Panchayat and Rural and Health Minister T.S. Singhdeo, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey, School Education Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam, Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, Urban Administration Minister Dr Shiv Kumar Dahria, Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma, Food and Culture Minister Amarjit Bhagat, Public Health Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar, Women and Child Development Minister Anila Bhediya, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Jaisingh Agarwal also congratulated the people of the state on Rajyotsava and Deepawali in their address. He said that the schemes started by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel were for the village, villagers and farmers. Villages and villagers are moving fast towards self-reliance. The government is fulfilling its every promise. Today Chhattisgarh model is being discussed all over the country.


At the beginning of the program, Agriculture Production Commissioner Dr Kamalpreet Singh gave detailed information about Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and Godhan Nyay Yojana. He said that with the encouragement of the Chhattisgarh government, farmers increased the Rabi crops cultivation. This year, the target is to sow rabi crops in 2 lakh 80 thousand hectares in the Rabi season. The sowing of Rabi crops has started. Adequate availability of seeds and fertilizers for Rabi crops has been ensured in the state.

On this occasion, Bastar MP Deepak Baij, Rajya Sabha MP Phulo Devi Netam, State Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Girish Devangan, Apex Bank Chairman Baijnath Chandrakar, Advisor to Chief Minister Pradeep Sharma, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Subrata Sahu, Agriculture Production Commissioner Dr Kamalpreet Singh, Secretary-General Administration Department DD Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, Agriculture Department Special Secretary Dr S.
