National Youth Festival will be organized in Raipur from 12 to 14 January next year

Raipur: Chief secretary Amitabh Jain inquired
about the preparations being made in connection with the organization of
National Youth Festival through video conferencing from Mantralaya Mahanadi
Bhawan today. 

National Youth Festival will be organized from January
12 to 14 next year at Science College Ground, Raipur.  This time, folk art exhibition, handicrafts
exhibition as well as folk literature seminar will also be organized in the
National Youth Festival.

Chief Secretary has directed to form a local
committee under the leadership of Collector, SP and Commissioner Municipal
Corporation of Raipur district at the local level for the successful
organization of the National Youth Festival. 
He has given the responsibility related to the organization of the
festival to various departments.   Work
of security arrangements, traffic control at the venue has been entrusted to
the Home Department. Main stage will be constructed by the Department of
Tourism and Culture. Public Works Department will oversee the construction of
the visitors’ gallery and dome.  

Responsibility of transporting the participants to
the venue has been given to the Transport Department.  Public Health Engineering and Municipal
Corporation will ensure drinking water arrangement at the venue.  Arrangements for accommodation and food for
the participants coming to participate in the youth festival will be done by
the Sports and Youth Welfare Department. 
To provide necessary health facilities to the participants, a team of
doctors along with life saving medicines will be available at the venue of the
event including accommodation. 

Jain has given instructions to prepare the outline
and approval of the opening and closing program of the National Youth
Festival.   Cleaning work in the venue
will be done by the Municipal Corporation.  
Responsibility of smooth electrical system at the venue has been
entrusted to the Energy Department.
