Multispecialty hospital may start in Bilaspur from July
300-bed super multispecialty hospital will facilitates patients with treatment of diseases like neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, CTVS (cardio thoracic vascular surgery), nephrology, urology, diseases.
Bilaspur residents will get the gift of Chhattisgarh’s most state-of-the-art hospital with the efforts of the city MLA ShaileshPandey.
Raipur:In the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha session on Wednesday, MLA Pandey questioned Health and Family Welfare Minister T S Singhdeo regarding the super specialty hospital of CIMS under construction in Koni. In reply, Singhdeo said in the House that the Hospital is under construction and is likely to complete within two months. The cost of this multi-level hospital is Rs 200 crore.
Treatment of diseases related to neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, CTVS (cardio thoracic vascular surgery), nephrology, urology will be done here. The construction of the 300-bed hospital will be completed soon and will be dedicated to the public, replied the Minister in the Assembly.
MLA Pandey said that all types of basic treatment facilities are available in the present CIMS, but by building a super specialty hospital, more facilities will be available at less cost. Everything will remain in the same premises. In Koni, the government has given 50 acres of land to CIMS. Out of this, the state’s first cancer hospital will be constructed in 10 acres. Out of this complex, the super specialty hospital and other necessary units will be located on 40 acres of land. Super specialty hospital being prepared for the treatment of all serious diseases including heart, cancer, and emergency facility will also be there.
