More than 1.5 crore eligible population fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: More than 1.5
crore eligible population of the state has been fully vaccinated against
Covid-19. Almost all the eligible people of age above 18 years of age have received
the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. Over 1.95 crore citizens of this age
group have been given the first dose of the anti-coronavirus vaccine. Nearly 10.26
lakh adolescents i.e. 63 per cent people in the age group of 15 to 18 years
have also been administered first dose. Precaution doses (booster) have also
been given to over 2.88 lakh health workers, frontline workers and citizens
above 60 years of age.

In Chhattisgarh, 1.47
crore citizens of age above 18 years and 2.21 lakh adolescents of age group 15
to 18 years have been vaccinated against Covid-19. This is 75 per cent and 14
per cent of the vaccination target set for these two categories respectively. A
total of three crore 59 lakh 12 thousand 416 vaccines have been administered
across the state so far (till February 6) in both the age groups, including the
first dose and the second dose, and the precautionary doses.
