Health min TS Singh Deo chairs departmental meeting, holds discussions regarding National TB Elimination Program
Raipur: Health minister TS Singhdeo on Saturday held a review meeting with senior officers of the Health Department at his residence office here.
In this meeting, he took information about the progress and action plan of the National TB Eradication Program while reviewing the district wise campaign for TB control.
The minister said that the health department team will have to work to make information regarding the programme from village to village for eradication of TB, from village to village.
Along with this, while interacting with the TB Mitans present in the meeting, he got information about the challenges being faced by them in the work and got to know their suggestions. During discussion with the mitanins, the minister said that at the regional level the contribution of all of you is incomparable, we all need to work towards TB free Chhattisgarh by making joint efforts.
After this meeting, Health Minister TS Singhdeo participated in the meeting of grants under the 15th Finance Commission, in which he discussed the topics of development of diagnostic infrastructure in primary health centers. In this meeting, discussions were held with senior officials on primary health centers (SHC, PHC, UPHC), block public health unit, urban health and wellness center and other subjects.
