HC lifts ban on appointment of teachers

Raipur: Chhattisgarh High Court has lifted the ban on the recruitment process of e-category teachers after finding the reply of state government to be satisfactory.

After this decision of the High Court given  by the bench of Justice P Sam Koshy now the recruitment process of e-category teachers will be started.

Ashwani Kumar Ratre had filed a petition in the High Court challenging the e-categorization process of teachers. It was said in the petition that according to the advertisement issued by the government, the cut-off date for obtaining all the qualifications was kept on November 20, 2019. Despite this, some candidates have been given appointments even after this date. After the preliminary hearing of the case, the High Court had stayed the recruitment process of teachers. Along with this, a notice was issued and a direction was issued to the state government to submit its reply.

In the reply submitted by the Government, relevant documents were presented explaining the allegations made by the petitioner. Giving full information in this regard, it was told that the ineligible candidates had already been eliminated by the state government. The petitioner, without giving any information about it, filed a petition in the High Court and obtained a stay on the recruitment process.
