Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw on Tuesday assured Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel of resolving the issue of the suspension of the services of 23 trains passing through Chhattisgarh. Earlier, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel telephoned the Union Minister of Railways making the latter aware of problems arising due to the suspension of services of 23 trains passing through Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister told the Union Minister that passengers in Chhattisgarh are facing a lot of difficulties due to the suspension of these trains and urged for resumption.
In reply, the Railway Minister assured to resolve the issue soon. The Chief Minister’s Office shared this information with the public through the twitter handle of the CMO. It may be mentioned that, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Subrat Sahoo had written a letter to the SECR after the decision to suspend the 23 trains was taken.
