Chief Minister consoled a weeping girl, announced a financial aid of Rs 3 lakh which made the girl smile

Raipur: During the ‘Bhent-Mulaqat’ programme organized in Bhainsgaon, a girl was quietly weeping in the corner amidst the crowd. Everyone’s attention was on the Chief Minister’s address. But, Baghel noticed the girl in distress. He beckoned the girl immediately and consoled her. He then asked her name and the problem that was bothering her. The girl replied that her name is Lokeshwari and her father is no more. She lives with her mother and brother in her maternal uncle’s house and her studies have been affected due to financial issues.

Baghel consoled Lokeshwari and told her not to worry. The Secretary in charge of the district, Ayaz Tamboli, wrote an application on behalf of the girl and the Chief Minister immediately announced a financial aid of Rs 3 lakh. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister inaugurated and performed ‘Bhoomipujan’ of developmental work worth Rs 16 crore 83 lakh. The Chief Minister also visited ‘Devgudi’. He reached the temple of Mata Roopshila and offered prayers to her. Industries minister Kawasi Lakhma, Bastar MLA Deepak Baij, Parliamentary Secretary Rekhchand Jain, and other public representatives were also present on the occasion.
