After Raipur, Narcotics Cell comes in Durg to curb illicit business of narcotics

Raipur:After state capital Raipur, Narcotics Cell has comes up in Durg in order to curb illicit business of narcotic items. Durg SSP B N Meena has formed the Special Narcotics Cell which will function under the guidance of DSP (Crime) Nasarullah Siddique. Three TI Rank officials have been included in the team and an order to this effect was issued by the SSP B N Meena on Thursday evening. 

The Cell will have a total of nine police officers and employees. Besides DSP, Cyber Cell TI Gaurav Tiwari, Cantonment Police station in-charge Vishal Sen, Supela Thana In-charge Suresh Dhruw, Cyber Cell SI Purn Bahadur, Bhilai Nagar Thana constable Anup Sharma, Constable Tuleshwar Rathore from CSP office Durg, Purani Bhilai Thana constable Rinku Soniand Supela Thana Sipahi Panne Lal.

Narcotics Cell In-charge Siddique said that the SSP has given him a new responsibility which is challenging for him and he would try to live upto the expectations of the SSP as well as the people of the district. The Cell will not only curb illegal business of the narcotics but also find the root cause of such business and its solutions.
