Uproar in Assembly over PM Awas Yojana as oposition BJP states walkout 

Minister Choubey said the BJP is confused about the figures of houses to be built under PM Awas Yojana.

As soon as the Question Hour of the Chhattisgarh legislative assembly began on Monday, opposition members and the ruling Congress members created a ruckus over Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ravindra Choubey said amidst the uproar that the BJP is confused about the number of houses to be built in the state. BJP leaders sometimes say 16 lakh houses to be built, sometimes they say it 38 lakh, prompting BJP MLA ShivratanSharma, leader of opposition Narayan Chandel, MLA Punnu Lal Mohle to corner Choubey. 

The opposition BJP then staged a walkout alleging that the government is snatching the houses of the poor and its ministers are misleading the people.

Discussing about the allotted house of PM AwasYojana, Choubey said that Dharamlal Kaushik said 13 lakhs, Shivratan Sharma said 16 lakhs. Shivratan said he did not say 16 lakh. All these figures mismatch. The BJP itself is not clear about the PM Awar Yojana, Choubey flayed. 

Dissatisfied with the reply, the BJP MLAs started chaos. Speaker Charandas Mahant intervened to pacify the Opposition MLAs but they staged a walkout.

MLA Brijmohan Agrawal raised a question regarding the Bodhghat project and accused the government of giving work to blacklisted companies. In reply, Choubey said that this company was given work worth Rs 5 crore during BJP government. Brijmohanretaliated to say that the entire department worked to pay Rs 41 crore to benefit a company. This is an attempt to mislead the entire state.

Choubey said due to this irrigation can be done in some districts of Bastar. In response, Agrawal said what this government did in the last 4 years.
