State Employees to continue strike despite government reassurance.

Raipur. Strikes by employees will continue. Following the Chief Minister’s appeal, a meeting of the Employees Officers Federation was held today, and they decided to continue the strike. The Staff Officers Federation met and discussed the main issues surrounding the strike. The Federation met with everyone and solicited their suggestions during the meeting. Following a discussion on various points in the employee, Staff Officer Federation decided to continue the strike.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel appealed to the employees to return from the strike yesterday. He had said that due to the strike, the people are facing a lot of trouble in essential works. He assured that given the financial situation, the state government would continue to take decisions in the interest of the employees.
State employees have been on strike since August 22 over dearness allowance and house rent allowance. The strike is affecting work. The state government stated that they will include the strike days as leave for those employees who return to work by September 2.
