Raipur: A large number of people availed benefit of the on-spot facility of license issuance in the stalls of the transport department during the Rajyotsava celebrations held at Science College ground in the capital Raipur as 1,293 youth were given on-spot learning licenses in six days from November 01 to 06. These include 103 licenses on November 1, 178 on November 2, 219 on November 3, 189 on November 4, 279 on November 5 and 325 on November 6.
Meanwhile, an important facility namely “Tuhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwar” which means Government at your doorstep is being operated efficiently by the Transport Department. Under this, people have recieved about 14 lakh smart card based registration certificates and driving licenses sitting at home .
In a bid to make the ‘Tunhar Sarkar, Tuhar Dwar’ service more accessible, a helpline number 75808-08030 has been issued by the department, which provides information and is operational from 10 am to 5.30 pm on all working days. Applicants can also get the desired information by contacting the e-mail id cgparivahandispatch@gmail.com. By calling on the above helpline number, applicants can get all the desired information related to the dispatch of their driving license and registration certificate.
Similarly, in order to make availing of transport related services easy and in the vicinity of people’s homes, transport facility centers are being opened in Chhattisgarh. Under this, 235 transport facility centers have been established in the state so far.
