The team also took feedback from patients in this regard. As per the assessment of the health ministry team, the Mathpurena urban primary health center received a score of 93 per cent.

During an inspection by a team from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, various facilities and services including dressing room, emergency, vaccination, communicable diseases, outreach, pharmacy, laboratory, general administration, non-communicable diseases, family planning, newborn and child health, maternal health, and general clinic were evaluated at the Mathpurena-based UPHC.

Meanwhile, prior to providing National Quality Assurance Certification, a team of experts examines the hospital’s services and satisfaction levels on eight standards. These include available services, patient rights, inputs, support services, clinical services, infection control, quality management, and outcomes.
