The team also took feedback from patients in this regard. As per the assessment of the health ministry team, the Mathpurena urban primary health center received a score of 93 per cent.

During an inspection by a team from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, various facilities and services including dressing room, emergency, vaccination, communicable diseases, outreach, pharmacy, laboratory, general administration, non-communicable diseases, family planning, newborn and child health, maternal health, and general clinic were evaluated at the Mathpurena-based UPHC.

Meanwhile, prior to providing National Quality Assurance Certification, a team of experts examines the hospital’s services and satisfaction levels on eight standards. These include available services, patient rights, inputs, support services, clinical services, infection control, quality management, and outcomes. Only hospitals that meet these rigorous standards are issued quality certification by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
