Health min TS Singh Deo attended the virtual meeting of the Union Health Ministry

Raipur: Health minister TS Singh Deo on Monday attended the virtual meeting of health ministers of all the states and union territories of the country presided over by the Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya. 

In the meeting, discussions were held regarding the TB-free India campaign, Raktadan Amrit Mahotsav (a nation-wide organization of blood donation camps) and Ayushman scheme. The Director of National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh Vilas Sandipan Bhoskar was also present in the online meeting.

In the meeting, the Union Health Minister gave detailed information about the TB-free India campaign and Raktdan Amrit Mahotsav. He said that both these campaigns would be conducted in the country from September 17 to October 1. He urged to increase public participation by involving NGOs and public communities in these campaigns. Dr. Mandaviya also asked people to be made aware about this through the media. He said that the target has been set to make India TB free by the year 2025. He also stressed on making cards for more and more people under Ayushman Bharat scheme so that people can get health services through this scheme.
