Divisional Commissioner Dr Sanjay Kumar Alung reviews various schemes in collectors’ conference

A divisional level collectors’ conference was organised on Friday in which Surguja Divisional Commissioner Dr Sanjay Kumar Alung reviewed various schemes.
Officers of Education, Public Works Department, PMGSY, Agriculture and Public Health Engineering Department were also present in the conference besides Collectors and CEOs of all the districts.
The Divisional Commissioner, while reviewing the schemes said that said that the intention of the government is to resolve the problems of the people in the shortest possible time. He asked the officers to be sensitive to the problems of farmers and beneficiaries coming to the revenue courts, so that they should not have to come again and again. He specially emphasized on the map updation and mandatory maintenance of all registers in ‘Wasil Baki Navis’ i.e. WBN branch. Reasons should be compulsorily recorded on cases that go beyond the time limit, so that the progress of disposal of cases can be reviewed. Along with this, he directed the collectors to complete the process of departmental promotion by holding the meeting of the Departmental Advisory Committee as soon as possible to help the employees under them.
The Divisional Commissioner reviewed the progress of Jal Jeevan Mission in the division and took information from Executive Engineer of Public Health Engineering.
The Divisional Commissioner gave necessary directions to the officials of PWD, PMGSY, and National Highway Authority after taking detailed information on road connectivity and infrastructure works in the entire division.
He reviewed the progress in relation to various important routes including NH 43 Ambikapur-Pathalgaon Road, Luchki Ghat, Wadrafnagar Road, NH 130 and gave instructions to complete them soon.
He said that work should be done on priority so that people get the facility of uninterrupted movement. Along with this, he also enquired about the road and building works included in the budget session in the year 2023-24.
He directed for advance lifting of fertilizers and seeds. He said that before June 15, a camp should be organized to facilitate the farmers. Giving special instructions on the creation of district credit plan, he asked to prepare an action plan on the basis of credit loan and availability of seeds for the next year.
While reviewing the schemes of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, he took information from all the CEOs, District Panchayats. In which Swachh Bharat Mission, Millet Mission, MNREGA, Amrit Sarovar Mission and development of ideal villages in FRA villages were discussed. He enquired about the progress of construction of new Swami Atmanand Government Excellence Schools in the division.
\Reviews preparations for assembly elections
Divisional Commissioner Dr Alung reviewed the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in the division and asked to keep voter list updated, identify sensitive and hypersensitive polling stations.
