CM Baghel to inaugurate a Hi-Tech Library in Raigarh on Thursday

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the state-of-the-art Hi-Tech District Library in Raigarh district, providing residents with a range of modern amenities. This newly renovated library is equipped with a Wi-Fi campus, a digital classroom, an e-library, and even a canteen. One of its main highlights is the air-conditioned study room, which can accommodate 250 children studying together. This transformation was made possible through the efforts of the district administration, who expanded the facilities to better serve the students.

Originally established in 1955, the Raigarh Government Library has undergone a significant overhaul. With the addition of new books and updated furniture, the library now boasts a collection of over 23,000 books. To keep up with the times, modern technologies have been integrated into the library. The entire campus is equipped with Wi-Fi, and approximately 20 computers are available for online studying. Students can also conveniently print study materials on-site. Furthermore, a digital classroom has been established, capable of accommodating 30 students simultaneously, leveraging modern teaching methods. Additionally, separate classrooms have been set up for group study sessions.

A noteworthy aspect of the library renovation is the inclusion of study cabins, providing students with personal study tables similar to those found in larger cities. The library offers around 180 such cabins, allowing students to focus on their studies in a comfortable and private environment. The library will be open to students from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., ensuring ample time for study. Furthermore, an e-library will be available to students, offering access to a variety of necessary books and magazines, with a specific focus on materials for competitive exam preparation.
