Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday held a road show from village Indori’s Mata Chandi Temple located in Kabirdham district’s Pandariya Vidhansabha region to the Bhent Mulaqat venue. During this, the villagers gave a rousing welcome to the chief minister. Women, children, senior citizens, and the youth from the village and the nearby areas welcomed the Chief Minister with coconuts, flowers, and Aarti, They also applied tilak on his forehead.
During the roadshow, the chief minister stopped at the side of the road for some time to perform worship at the Durga Pandal and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the state’s residents.
The villagers also presented Baghel with a photo of the former Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi. The youth and children enthusiastically raised ‘Zindabad ‘ slogans for Bhupesh Baghel. People gathered in vast numbers in various places to honor the Chief Minister and he was welcomed with a huge fanfare. Young people competed amongst themselves to catch a glimpse of Bhupesh Baghel and take his photos.
