Chhattisgarh CM inaugurated the newly formed Sakti district

Raipur: Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday inaugurated the newly formed district Sakti –the 33rd district of Chhattisgarh state which has been carved out of the Janjgir-Champa district. Besides, he also attended the inaugural programme of the Collector’s Office and Superintendent of Police’s office, Badadev’s Maha Puja, and public meetings. A roadshow of the Chief Minister was also held.

Baghel inaugurated and performed Bhoomipujan of 309 works worth Rs 1 billion 53 crores 6 lakh for the development of the district. This includes Bhoomipujan of 296 works worth Rs 85 crore 20 lakh and the inauguration of 13 works to be constructed at a cost of Rs 67 crore 85 lakh 99 thousand.

Under this, Chief Minister performed Bhoomipujan of 105 development works worth Rs 8 crore 73 lakh under the Education Department, 81 development works worth Rs 4 crore 82 lakh under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, 32 development works worth Rs 8 crore 17 lakh under the Co-operation Department, 39 development works worth Rs 20 crore 73 lakh under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, 15 development works worth Rs 3 crore 40 lakh under health department, 12 development works worth Rs 21 crore 69 lakh under water Resources department, 6 development works worth Rs 5 crore 68 lakh under Administration Department, one development work worth Rs 1 crore 52 lakh under Tribal Welfare Department and 5 development works worth Rs 10 crore 40 lakh under Public Works Department.

Similarly, Chief Minister inaugurated 3 development works worth Rs 37 lakh under Education Department, 4 development works worth Rs 28 lakh under Panchayat and Rural Development Department, 3 development works worth Rs 23 crore 95 lakh under Public Works Department (Bridge), one development work worth Rs 34 lakh under Health Department, one development work worth Rs 1 crore 52 lakh under Tribal Welfare Department and one development work worth Rs 41 crore 38 lakh under Public Works Department.
