Bilaspur Municipal Corporation demolished restaurant built on government land

Bilaspur: The Municipal Corporation demolished a restaurant being constructed illegally on government land.

Officials said that a restaurant named ‘Hari Chutney’ was being built in Uslapur Road on a government land. The construction work was going on even after notice. The municipal corporation squad demolished the illegal construction on Tuesday as per the instructions of Smart City MD Kunal Dudawat and Corporation Commissioner Vasu Jain.

The restaurant was being built by Santosh Parihar, Harpreet Singh Bhagat and Moti Dayalani by encroaching on the government land in Uslapur Road. A notice for the same was also issued by the corporation. The Corporation Commissioner has said that there are about 27 illegal constructions in the area; notices have been given to demolish all of them. Road widening will be done after demolishing the encroachments.
