Aadhar cards for children will be made at home in CG: A new service added to the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana.
Children in Chhattisgarh’s urban areas will no longer need to visit a service centre to obtain an Aadhar card. People associated with the Aadhaar service will make this card at home. Chief Minister Mitan Yojana will provide this service. As of November 1, the state’s foundation day, this new Aadhaar service has also been added to this scheme. This service will be available only to children under the age of five.
According to officials, the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana was established to provide essential services to citizens at home. Given the scheme’s success, one more service will get added on November 1. Aadhaar cards for children under five years will be issued through Mitan. You can book an appointment at your convenience by calling the toll-free number 14545.
Mitan will come to register the child’s Aadhaar on the date specified by the applicant. The child’s Aadhaar will reach the applicant’s home address within a few days of the completion of the registration process. Chief Minister Mitan Yojana has begun in 14 municipal corporations across the state. It will later get implemented in all of the state’s urban bodies. Birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates, caste certificates, and residence certificates are among the services provided under this scheme.
Ration card, CGSS / State Government / ECHS / ESIC / Medical card, Army canteen card, passport, birth certificate, and documents related to family issued by the state or central government will be required to make Aadhaar for children up to five years.
It also serves as a digital photo identity card for young children. Aadhar cards will also be useful for passports, PAN cards, and bank accounts, among other things. The Aadhaar number and biometrics of both mothers and fathers will be required at the time of child Aadhaar registration.
